Gameplay:
The Road to Baghdad based on the Close Combat series. Same engine and mechanics. The player controls a squad of troops carrying out various objectives. Give orders, position the troops and try to outsmart the enemy. However, the game isn’t nearly as good as Close Combat.
While the strategy elements are there, the details are not. Weapons sounds, for example, are atrocious. It’s a very lackluster real time strategy outclassed by the series it’s imitating.
